Our first pea picking took place on Aug 25 – 27.  This is the pea picker that the USDA helped us purchase.  After we harvest the peas in the field, we are taking them this year to Alcorn State University in Marks, Mississippi for shelling.  Next year, we will be equipped with our own sheller and freezer.
